Women’s Day and Mother’s Day are known for inspiring grand gestures. Flowers that last a week, chocolates gone in a day (as dentists, we definitely don’t recommend this one). This year, at Complete Smiles, we wanted to do something different and genuine.
I am a mum, a dentist in Harrow and the co-founder of Complete Smiles. I know exactly how much women give of themselves every single day. So rather than mark this occasion with something forgettable, we decided to do something that actually sticks around.
We have decided to offer a free smile makeover and clear aligner treatment to a woman whose story inspires us. We are asking everyone to nominate a special woman in their lives who has been quietly brilliant, showing up, giving generously, keeping things ticking along, and who is also in need of dental treatment.

What’s Included in the Free Dental Treatments?
The person we choose will receive a full smile makeover, clear aligner treatment, or both if needed. Here’s what that actually entails.
Smile Makeovers
A smile makeover is a tailored combination of cosmetic treatments to make your smile appear straighter, whiter, and gap-free. This procedure may include professional teeth whitening, composite bonding, veneers, dental implants, and other cosmetic treatments, depending on each individual case.
We will perform a comprehensive oral examination and assess overall health before recommending smile makeover treatments.
Clear Aligners
Clear aligner treatment is a discreet, comfortable way to straighten teeth without resorting to traditional braces. You may have heard of clear aligners by their famous brand name, Invisalign. We also offer Modern Clear aligners. Complete Smiles is an Invisalign Diamond Provider, meaning our dentists are highly experienced in providing this treatment in the UK.
Each clear aligner treatment is personalised using custom-made trays to ensure maximum effectiveness and comfort. Clear aligners can fix underbite, overbite, crossbite, small gaps (not caused by missing teeth), and many other orthodontic conditions without the social embarrassment of visible prosthetics.
How Free is “Free” Treatment?
Both treatments are offered completely free of charge. There will be no hidden costs or extra charges. Necessary x-rays and other scans are included. The selected lady will, however, have to pay for her own transportation.
How Much Can You Save with a Free Smile Makeover Offer?
Smile makeover treatments can cost from a few hundred pounds to tens of thousands. For example, if your nominee needs composite bonding, we will cover the costs of around £10,000.
Clear aligner treatment starts from around £2,000, but it can get very expensive for full orthodontic correction. Regardless of the severity of the condition, we will cover the full course of whichever treatment is chosen.
Who Can You Nominate for a Free Smile Makeover?
You can recommend any woman whom you feel deserves a special treat. She might be your mom, your nan, best mate or even someone in your community you love and trust. The only condition is that she matters to you and you can tell us why.
I will personally read every nomination carefully. We’re not looking for the most dramatic story. Just an honest one.
How to Nominate Someone for a Free Smile Makeover
First, tell us what your nominee means to you or your community, and why you think she needs a smile makeover. We want to know who she is and what made you nominate her.
So, once again, send your letters, write-ups, videos or audio files to malavi@completesmiles.co.uk, where I will read through all of them on March 22nd. Please make sure to send your submissions before then.
Importantly, please note that we would absolutely love to share the smile makeover recipient’s story with our staff, other patients, and social media followers. So kindly make sure to share your nominee’s story only if she is okay with it being made public.

Wanting to feel good about your smile is not vanity. It is completely normal. Yet so many people put it off indefinitely, always finding something more pressing to spend time or money on. This is a chance to change that for someone, without her having to lift a finger except to say yes.
