Perfect Your Smile and Bite with Custom-Crafted Crowns and Bridges

Dental crowns are caps for teeth or implants that restore their appearance and function after decay or failure. Dental bridges close gaps left by one or more missing teeth. We have multiple options for crowns and bridges with financing if needed.

  • Porcelain Crowns

Porcelain crowns are bonded over a metal base for exceptional strength. They mimic natural enamel well and are our most affordable option.

  • E-Max Crowns

E-Max crowns are made from a high-strength lithium disilicate ceramic with no metal core. These are the most natural-looking crowns we offer and are popular for front teeth.

  • Bespoke Metal Crowns

Gold is one of the most durable materials in dentistry. Modern gold crowns are custom built to withstand heavy use on back teeth.

  • Zirconia Crowns

Zirconia is a high-strength crystalline ceramic, which is harder than traditional porcelain. This material can withstand heavy bite pressure anywhere in the mouth.

  • Bonded Dental Bridges

Bonded bridges are built on a semi-precious metal alloy framework, which is anchored to the nearby teeth to create a strong, stable base for closing gaps. Priced per unit.

  • Pay per Month

Our monthly payment plans make it easier to spread the cost for comprehensive smile restoration treatments. 0% interest for up to 3 years.

The treatment journey

How to receive affordable dental crowns and bridges in the UK

These steps explain the treatment process for crowns and bridges. If you are receiving them as part of a wider smile restoration treatment, additional steps may be involved.

1Consultation

Consultation and assessment

Your dentist examines the affected tooth or gap to confirm the right type of crown or bridge for your case. This is also a good time to discuss financing options.

2Preparation

Treatment planning and preparation

Using digital scans, your dentist plans your treatment. Your tooth is then prepared, and temporary crown or bridge is fitted while your permanent one is made.

3Fabrication

Laboratory fabrication

Your crown or bridge is custom-made to match the shape, size and shade of your surrounding teeth. This stage typically takes one to two weeks.

4Fitting

Fitting

Your permanent crown or bridge is fitted and checked for comfort and bite. Any final adjustments are made at this appointment.

5Aftercare

Aftercare

Your dentist provides guidance on caring for your new crown or bridge and arranges a follow-up to make sure everything has settled well.

Patient Questions

Common questions about dental crowns and bridges

Clinician speaking with a patient

Restorations last for 7-15 years on average, but they can be weakened by not maintaining oral hygiene or allowing gum disease to take hold. Trauma also has an effect and it's important that you visit your dentist as soon as possible if this happens so the damage caused is reduced.

No, crowns are often fitted without a root canal.

Not necessarily. It might be more sensible and economical to have a bridge if the teeth either side of a gap require crowns.

Crowns can look very natural. Whether your goal is a Hollywood grin or an everyday smile, we have what it takes for every patient's needs.

First, the area is numbed so you can feel no pain. The teeth are prepared and cleaned for a restoration to fit over them better. This preparation takes time and detail work but it must happen before any restorations can be made by our dental lab technicians. For this phase of treatment, your temporary replacement looks like real teeth! Once they're ready, we try them in and make sure everything fits correctly with their proper bite as well as how good they look on your smile! If everything is good, the restoration is cemented permanently onto your teeth.

No, a bridge and a crown are different types of appliances dentists use to replace missing teeth. Dental crowns are used for replacing single missing teeth, while bridges are used to replace multiple missing teeth in a row. While they offer the same function, they are structurally different and require different placement procedures.
