Choose Complete Smiles for Veneers

Restore your smile with porcelain or composite veneers

We understand that chips, stains, and cracks on your teeth can leave you feeling self-conscious about smiling, veneers could be the solution for you.

Veneers are a good treatment option to consider if you have minor cosmetic issues, including chipped, broken,  or discoloured teeth. They are thin tooth-coloured shells that are attached to the front surface of your tooth to improve its appearance and look just like your natural teeth.  veneers for small teeth

We offer two veneer treatment options, i.e. Emax Porcelain Veneers or Composite Veneers. We can also mould and place ultra-thin veneers over your small teeth. Porcelain veneers for small teeth is one of the most popular treatment methods due to the control it provides regarding the look and shape of each tooth. Our highly trained team of dentists can help you explore the options available with our cosmetic dentistry to decide the best treatment option for your needs.

Emax Veneers

Emax veneers are made from very thin pressed ceramic. The advantage of their thin but highly durable structure means minimal shaving of the existing tooth is required and allows for a stronger bond to the tooth. This is unlike other types of porcelain veneers such as ‘feldspathic’ that are thicker so require more work on the existing tooth.

Emax veneers offer a strong, long-lasting solution. Their translucency means they’ll blend in with your existing teeth for a more natural look, and they do not stain so you can smile with confidence for years to come.

Composite Veneers
Composite veneers offer a quick and easy solution for repairing broken, stained, and crooked teeth. They can also close gaps and correct misalignment for a more confident smile. Unlike porcelain veneers which are made in a laboratory, we can apply composite veneers in one visit.

Although composite veneers can be a more affordable option, they are not as strong and long-lasting as porcelain and may stain over time. Maintaining their healthy appearance can be done by your dentist to remove stains and quickly repair any damage to the veneer.

Veneers act like natural teeth, so oral hygiene standards apply. As long as you brush your teeth and visit your dentists for regular dental cleaning, your veneers should last you for many years without any problems.

What to expect from your veneers treatment

For Emax veneers, your dentist will take an impression of your teeth in your first appointment, and take measurements that will be used to create your veneers. Once your veneers are in we will arrange your second appointment to have them fitted. For composite veneers, only one appointment is required.

On fitting your veneers, your dentists will make sure the fit, shape, and colour of the veneers are right for you. They may use a local anaesthetic to avoid discomfort, they will then clean your teeth and grind a small layer of the tooth’s enamel to create a rough surface for the veneer to be applied to. Your veneer will then be cemented into place, using ultraviolet light to harden the cement.

    The benefits of veneers

There are several benefits to having veneers fitted to your teeth:
    • They provide a very natural finish.
    • They can cover misshapen, chipped or discoloured teeth.
    • Veneers are a long-lasting cosmetic solution.
    • They match the colour of your teeth.
    • Veneers are stain resistant and durable.
    • They offer a more gentle approach to improving your smile.

How do you look after your veneers?

Once your veneers have been fitted and any anesthetic has worn off, you can carry on as you normally would. Your veneers should last you between 10 to 15 years, but here are some things you can do to ensure their longevity:

    • Avoid chewing on hard objects such as pens, fingernails, and ice.
    • If you grind your teeth it may be worth getting a retainer to protect your veneers.
    • Don’t use your teeth for things such as opening packaging and bottles.
    • Eat harder foods with the back of your teeth.
    • Avoid impact, if you play sports consider a mouthguard.

    Before After

The effects of veneers are instant, you’ll have a perfect smile that you can show off and feel confident about.

    Veneers

Veneers offer a long-lasting and less intrusive treatment option for your teeth. They will naturally cover any chips or stains giving you a wonderful full smile.

      Dental Veneers FAQs

A small piece of porcelain or composite bond glued to the front surface of the tooth (almost like a false nail).

It is used to hide the underlying tooth. So if a tooth needs to be straightened or gaps between your teeth need to be covered, then we use veneers.

This is the perfect solution for cracked, worn or shiny teeth. It allows us to make changes in the size, shape, or colour of existing teeth.

The outer part of the tooth should be removed to ensure that the veneer can be permanently attached to the existing tooth.

The amount of tooth loss is small and will be the same size as the veneer to be applied. The tooth needs to be of the same size, so we actually have to build a rough surface to allow the veneer to stick to the teeth.

Once the tooth is formed, a picture of the repaired tooth is taken and sent to a dentist who will produce a veneer, which will be the right size, shape and colour you will need.

If you are having Emax veneers, the production process takes approximately ten working days.

No, we can temporarily apply a denture over the tooth until your veneers are filled.

The time it takes depends on how many veneers you choose to make. The process usually takes less than an hour, and the final installation takes 30 minutes.

It is our policy to use only high-quality dental materials so as not to compromise on the strength or beauty of our veneers. Our Emax porcelain veneers cost from £300, and composite veneers are from £255 per tooth.

Porcelain materials are extremely durable and do not need to be replaced unless they are damaged. If they break for any reason, they will need to be replaced.

We can typically fix the problem with composite veneers in only one visit. With porcelain veneers, we may need to submit an order to the laboratory for a new veneer to be created.
