Video Consultation

There are many reasons why patients dread going to the dentist. For some it’s fear and for others, it’s a lack of time. At Complete Smiles, we understand this fear, stress and frustration often experienced by patients. In response, we seek to better serve our patients and give them a more pleasant dental office experience online. You’ll have fast access to our dentists and have the opportunity to discuss your oral health concerns at your own convenience. If you would like to discuss your dental issues before seeing our dentists in person, you can book a complimentary video consultation to decide the best course of action.

You will be able to choose the available time and date that will work best for you. All available dates/times will be displayed. Please note that Virtual consultation must be booked at least 48 hours in advance to ensure that we can consult with each patient and prepare your personal information.

There is no charge for a Virtual Consultation, however if you miss your scheduled appointment, we may refuse you future video consultations.

We’ll confirm your appointment and send an invite for a video call or telephone Consultation

STEP 3
Join the video consultation or use the dial-in-details to start your appointment.

Once you have booked your appointment, we will send you a confirmation email and details of how to join the video meeting. If we feel that a virtual consultation would not be appropriate, we will contact you to discuss this further and what other options are available.

Your dentist will contact you with the outcome of the consultation. If you need further treatment, we will make a separate appointment.

If you are prescribed medications, your Dentist will speak to you to organise sending this to your closest Pharmacy, where collection is available.

If you need to rearrange your Virtual consultation, select the “Change Your Appointment” option located at the bottom of your email confirmation.

Each consultation is around 15-20 minutes. The length of virtual appointments with a Dentist may vary according to your needs.
