Facial Aesthetics Treatments

Say goodbye to fine lines and wrinkles

Our dentists have the experience to give you a new natural look designed to improve your features, but not to change them so much that you are no longer you.

We’ve all seen examples of celebrities with silly looks or with overflowing lips; this can be very stressful for a new client who is considering their first treatment. This stress can all be avoided when you are treated by experienced medical professionals who fully understand facial makeup and how your perfect look needs to be made with gentle, balanced products.

Our dentists have received the finest training from industry leaders and work in conjunction with many different facial beauty companies. This has made it possible for our dentists to obtain a wide range of information surrounding the range of products available.

Together, they have many years of experience in learning to manage patient expectations, using advanced techniques, and passing on the information of what can be achieved with each product.

Botulinum Toxin (Botox):
If you want to reduce the lines on your face without having to go through surgical procedures, the great news is that facial rejuvenation procedures can soften wrinkles for a more youthful appearance. The advantage of having this treatment done by dentists is that they have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the facial anatomy and can perform this delicate and efficient work in a precise manner.

How does Botox work?
Once injected into the skin, the botulinum toxin (botox) relaxes the tiny facial muscles, which cause expression lines, by blocking the nerve impulses in them, leaving the skin looking polished. Areas on the face that can be treated include frown lines (vertical lines which form between the eyebrows), eyebrows, crow’s feet, forehead lines and lines around the mouth and top lip, known as ‘smoker’s lines’.

The botulinum injection is quick and painless; usually will last around 5-10 minutes and requires no antiseptic. Results will usually be seen in a few days, sometimes taking between 4-7 days for the effects to be seen. As it’s not a permanent treatment, the effects will wear off over time, so it’s recommended that the procedure is repeated every three months for effective results.

Dermal Fillers:
There is a difference between the botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. The former relaxes the muscles whereas the fillers fill and plump up lines, wrinkles and grooves to make the skin look younger. Fillers usually consist of sterile hyaluronic acid gels made from non-animal sources. As we grow older the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid is lost giving rise to the appearance of lines and folds. Injecting fillers into the skin acts to replace the hyaluronic acid that is lost with age. They are also used for lip enhancement and for shaping facial, hand and neck contours.

How do Dermal Filler Treatment work?
The injections, which only take a few minutes, are usually administered after a local anaesthetic has been applied either directly onto the skin, or included into the syringe containing the filler. This serves to reduce any discomfort. The effect of the treatment is visible immediately. Depending on the area treated, skin type and the injection technique, the filler effect can last between six and twelve months (usually six months for lips). Follow-up treatments will help to maintain the plumped up look over time.

How Does Invisalign Treatment work?

The four steps for transforming your smile

Smile Consultation
We will discuss the way you feel about your smile. We can show you how your smile will look at the end of the treatment.

Dental assessment
At the same time, we will assess your oral health to make sure it is the best it can be before safely starting Invisalign treatment.

Start wearing aligners
As you progress from one set of bespoke aligners to another, you will be able to see your teeth becoming progressively straighter.

Your new smile
It is a proud day when the treatment finishes with a beautiful, new smile that will last forever with the right care.

Teeth Straightening

Will I have to compromise my dental routine with Invisalign?

Invisalign created a product with the least disruption to your dental routine in mind, but it is important you follow your oral hygiene regimen. Moreover, as the Invisalign system is removable, you can continue to brush and floss your teeth with products that work for your dental health. Brushing your aligners with non-abrasive toothpaste will keep them clean and fresh.

The benefits of Invisalign

Convenient
Take them out for eating and brushing or for important business meetings. (Most patients keep them in anyway because the aligners are “invisible”.)

“Invisible” aligners
No one needs to know you are having treatment.

Change the aligners once a week – or once a fortnight.
Each set moves your teeth towards their final position.

Custom fit
Invisalign make a series of bespoke aligners that are just right for your teeth and gums.

Confidence
An Invisalign patient typically stops covering their mouths when they laugh and starts proudly showing off their beautiful smile.

Before After

During your Invisalign treatment you’ll see big changes from small movements in just a matter of weeks. Invisalign can solve all sorts of misalignments in your teeth and because the aligners are virtually invisible, results are the only thing you and others will see.

Invisalign

Invisalign straightens and aligns teeth without fixed metal braces. You can remove them whenever you want, they’re practically invisible, and you will start to see results within a few months.

Invisalign FAQs

Invisalign relies on a series of custom-designed, transparent, soft plastic aligners that have a gentle, controllable grip on your teeth to move them in place. You apply new aligners every two weeks until the treatment is complete, and you have a healthy and beautiful smile.

You should wear your guides for at least 22 hours a day, only taking them out to eat and brush your teeth.

As with any dental treatment, it takes a few days to get used to having something in your mouth. Many patients say that they do not see any change in their speech, while others have noticed minor discomfort for the first few days. Your speech will return to normal once you get used to it.

Each new set of Invisalign aligners can make your teeth feel tender, to begin with. The good news is this shows the treatment is working, and you are on your way to straight teeth.

Yes but be sure to remove your aligners first. If you chew gum with your aligners on, it will stick to your aligners and cause pain.

Not recommended because nicotine can contaminate aligners. Having yellow plastic in your mouth nullifies the benefits of invisible treatment.

Keeping your aligners clean is quite easy. You will just brush them with toothpaste and rinse them with warm water.

You will visit us every six weeks. You do not need modifications while wearing Invisalign but we will need to make sure your treatment is improving as it should.

Yes. Whether you have a brace or Invisalign, the only way to maintain your results is to wear a retainer. In fact, it won't be much different than wearing your aligners, and eventually, you'll only need to use them at night.

The duration of Invisalign varies depending on how serious your case is. On average it could range from 6 – 12 Months. Our Dentists will be able to give you a good idea of how long it will take during your free consultation.

The only way to determine if Invisalign will work for you is to book a free consultation with a Dentist from Complete Smiles. We will Assess your teeth and advise on the correct treatment accordingly.

No Problem! If you lose an aligner, give us a call. Your Invisalign treatment programme plan is digitalized so that any aligner can be replaced quickly.
